Hi, I’m Paula.
The last few months have been...interesting. I'm an Art Director with nearly two decades of experience who got caught up in the recent tech industry upheaval. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. A (photo studio) door that I loved going through each day closed. But! I've been through hard times before, and one thing I know is, it does get better. So I'm pulling up my boot straps and getting busy.
Since, I've rebuilt my portfolio website so I'm ready for the next great opportunity, jumped back into freelance design, self-published 3 more coloring books, started Paula Riley Art (where I'm also becoming a content creator, eeek!), and never putting down my sketch book.
I plan to continue creating whether for myself, a client or an employer. Because if there's one thing I've learned throughout my life and career, it's that creativity doesn't disappear when circumstances change. If anything, it becomes even more important.
